Why We're Thankful for Each Enneagram Type
This hopefully is not a newsflash, but Thanksgiving is this week. In a year where what normal is has drastically changed. In a year when we may be grieving a loss. In a year when we may have lost jobs, normal routines, and even going to church regularly. In this year, it’s important that we choose to be thankful.
Thankful for God’s goodness. Thankful for the gift of each day. Thankful for God’s love. Thankful for our home and other provisions. And most of all, thankful for our people.
What I love about the Enneagram
One of the things I love about the Enneagram is the self-awareness it brings when it comes to our people. With 9 different lenses through which we see the world and nine different motivations of why we do what we do, the Enneagram (when applied to our relationships), can help us show up for our people with more understanding, compassion, and grace.
As we step into Thanksgiving, the Enneagram provides a space for us to be thankful for our people - regardless of their Enneagram type so if you’re just starting to learn more about the Enneagram or would love a reminder of what’s good and beautiful about your people, then keep reading about what we can be thankful for in each Enneagram type.
